How to get a refund from Ryanair

Ryanair does not refund tickets you simply choose not to use, but a flight it cancels, a delay of 5 hours or more, or denied boarding can qualify for a refund through your booking or the refund link in its disruption email. EU261 compensation is a separate claim made through Ryanair's own claim form.

Official ways to reach Ryanair

If you booked through an online travel agent, Ryanair may not have your contact or payment details, so it asks you to complete its customer verification form before it refunds you directly.

Ryanair refund questions

Does Ryanair have an email address for refunds?

We didn't find a customer email address on Ryanair's own help pages. Its published routes are my bookings (request a refund on a disrupted flight), refund claim for delays of 5 hours or more, eu261 compensation claim, expenses claim (meals, hotel, transport during a disruption), customer verification form for bookings made through an online travel agent. Paste your written request into the form or chat so your wording is on record.

How do I contact Ryanair about a charge?

Use the routes above, all taken from Ryanair's own pages. Have the charge date, amount and your account email ready, and ask for a reference number.

What if Ryanair won't refund me?

Send one follow-up with a short deadline, keeping everything in writing. If you paid by credit card, you can dispute a charge for something not provided as agreed with your card issuer, generally within 60 days of the statement that showed it. Consumer agencies like the FTC or your state attorney general take complaints too.
