How to get a refund from Spotify

Spotify's refund policy says that when you cancel Premium you keep what you paid for until the period ends, so a standard renewal is not refunded. For charges you think are wrong, such as a charge after cancelling or a double charge, check your account page first and then message Spotify customer service, which does not offer phone support.

Checked against Spotify's own help pages on October 24, 2026.

Official ways to reach Spotify

If Premium is billed by a partner such as a phone or internet provider, Spotify does not refund it and you contact that partner, whose details are on your account page.

What if Spotify won't refund me?

Send one follow-up with a short deadline, keeping everything in writing. If you paid by credit card, you can dispute a charge for something not provided as agreed with your card issuer, generally within 60 days of the statement that showed it. Consumer agencies like the FTC or your state attorney general take complaints too.
